The
Fox Bay Lodge offers some of the finest and most
abundant Salmon and Trout in North America.
Wildlife viewing in the Katmai National Park (which
is a photographer's paradise, and a fisherman's
dream), can be on your itinerary.
Katmia
(home of Brooks Falls) is one of the largest Bear
Viewing areas in all of Alaska. This is just a
short flight from the lodge, which is located on the
Naknek River. The Naknek River is known for
the massive Salmon runs, and the Trophy Rainbow
Trout.
Fox
Bay Lodge offers five individual cabins, including
one main lodge for gatherings. All the cabins
have full and private bathrooms and are fully carpeted
for your warmth and pleasure. Three cabins
accommodate 2 people, and two cabins can accommodate
3 people. Each cabin is comfortably furnished
with twin beds, chairs and a small dining
table. The cabins access the main lodge by an
elevated walkway across the creek.
The
main lodge has a cozy fireplace, television and
telephone. Adjacent to the main room is the
dining room where all the meals and fish stories are
told. What a great way to dine,
socialize and enjoy a "Family Style
Meal", while hearing about "The one that
almost got away!"
Arriving
at Fox Bay Lodge
Upon
arrival, your host and hostess will show you to
your cabin, and give you a brief orientation.
You will then be able to unpack, and unwind from your
trip. Appetizers will be served in the main
lodge before sitting down to a home-cooked meal.
